Good quality long mens socks
According to my husband, these socks are lovely, warm and quite hardwearing. Fit is true to size. Nice to find decent knee high socks for men that are good value.
Would love to see different colours though as there used to be a few years ago.

Long warm wool socks
My husband and I have worn these long socks for years, such a shame they are now only available in black and online. The elastic tops are a bit tighter than they used to be. Why are they only made for men, women need long warm wool socks too, and I find the small men’s a bit too large!

Great quality, good length (no-one wants to see bare ankles when pulling up trouser legs to sit down do they?). Would like to see other colours being made available: light shade but NOT white!

Initial impression good. Ask me again in Month
I ordered the socks a few weeks ago and paid more than other Amazon options on basis M&S have been in the sock business a long long time so they may be best. I would have bought them from one of their stores like I always used to but for some reason long socks do not warrant display space even though M&S have 100's of short socks taking up more display space than they need. I have only put them on today as until now the weather has still been ok for summer socks. Firstly I notice they are much thinner than ones in the past. I will be judging these socks on whether the heals and toes last very long, my darning skills are not good. Also whether the elasticated tops keep gripping. Finally if the thinner sock means thinner warmth. Warmth seems ok but its still a barmy 9 degree, not freezing enough yet. Also grip is OK on first time of wearing them.
Ordering, speed of delivery, and ease of collection from my local branch with free parking in Tolworth was incredibly good.
Ask me about these socks again, in a months time.
